Colleges Recognize Nursing Educator Shortages

Not only medical staffing companies, but also medical facilities realize that the imminent nursing shortage has many factors. One of the factors is the immediate need for nursing educators and faculty across the country. Many nursing schools, colleges and universities concede that one fault of higher education is the lack of financial resources for nursing educators.

In fact many nursing educators receive less pay than those they teach in their first year of nursing. Furthermore, nursing educators are not likely to further their own education because their salaries will not compensate the educational expense of obtaining higher degrees.

So medical staffing companies and university deals are in a quandary about how they will be able to fill the many nursing positions around the country and compensate the valued men and women who are willing to train these needed nurses.
