Travel Nurse News – Rutgers University Adds School of Nursing in 2010

Rutgers University-Camden plans to add a nursing school next year to assist with nursing shortage and increase its student body, according to the Philidelphia Inquirer.

“This proposed new school should help to address the critical shortage in the field of nursing that is being projected,” said John P. Sheridan Jr., president and CEO.

Rutgers already has an advanced program for nursing, but will also add a master’s and doctoral program for those who want to further their education. This is an excellent opportunity for permanent placement nurses and travel nurses to advance their eductation for those just entering the nursing field.
